John & Jacqui SchleyJohn & Jacqui Schley have ministered to the students of Metro North since 1996 John serves Metro North as Assistant Pastor overseeing Student Ministries and Worship). Their desire is for students to know Christ and grow to maturity so they in turn will minister to others. As Assistant Pastor John oversees the student ministries, worship, and the Sunday morning children’s ministry although youth work is his passion. He enjoys playing and watching any sport and continues to be one of only four Georgia Tech fans in all of Charleston. Jacqui has the heart of a teacher and often helps students with their math or science. She loves pro football and still has dreams to play in the NFL as a defensive end. They have four children: T.J., Liz, Jeremy and Stef.

Thomas Allen Nall, (a.k.a. T-Nall, Gilligan, Hardcore Thom, Tuthpixs, Tapeworm- "Yes, I Thomas Nallhave quite a few and answer to all"), was born in Charleston and currently resides in his home town of Summerville. He is a graduate of Coker College with a degree in Fine Arts and currently works at Derst Baking Co. delivering "The Captain" to a store near you.  He enjoys loud fast music (hardcore, metal, grind, thrash---you name it!---but everyone also has a soft side). He’s a sucker for concerts and local shows. He also has a passion for the great sport of soccer, playing the mighty Wii Sports, a good night out at the Waffle, and hanging with youth and friends. He continues to be addicted to his obsession with inking his body.

William Benjamin Tanner Page Esq. III--My name is Tanner, short for Sir William Benjamin Tanner Page Esq. Jr. III. You can call me Tanner or any thing else you want,William Tanner but I might not answer to it. After a vigorous education at St. John’s Christian Academy, I tried my hand at Winthrop University. No sir, I didn’t like it, not one bit. So I moved back to Charleston, where I fill my days with sandwiches, and Burning Crusades. In my spare time, I chase children at Devon Forest Elementary, and use the money for more sandwiches. I am interested in film and acting and look to go to film school in the future. I enjoy football, music of all kind and hanging out with friends. And finally but not lastly I love my Lord Jesus Christ.

Marcia Snyder-“I’m not crazy about teenagers.”Marcia Snyder Until I spent a week with a group of Metro North’s teens at a WorkCamp in June of ’09, that would have captured my feelings pretty clearly. But God used that week to open my eyes to the wonders of Youth Ministry and the fascinating world of Teens and I’ve been hooked on both ever since. My family has been at Metro North for about two years. Paul and I have been married almost 21 years and we have two sons, Joseph and Noah, both teenagers themselves. (I guess getting over the thing of not liking teenagers was pretty important since we have two of them!) Having moved several times as a family, finding a church home is a priority and we definitely feel at home here. We have been homeschooling for 11 years and really appreciate the flexibility that it gives us. I love to read (Classics mainly), bake, spend time on the rivers around Charleston, watch our crazy pets (3 cats, a dog, a hamster, and 20 or so goldfish), yack with girlfriends, and listen to Christian music. God has blessed our family in so many ways and I’m always amazed at His grace and provision.
