February 25th is our Celebration Service where we will all come together for one service at 10am to rejoice in the work God is doing through our Transform initiative. This will also be our commitment day when everyone will be given the opportunity to indicate their level of giving for the next 36 months.
To complete our Celebration Day, we will all come together on the evening of Feb. 25 at 5:30pm with a dinner to celebrate the ways that God is working at Metro North Church. We invite our whole church family together for this celebration. You don’t need to bring anything, just come hungry and ready to celebrate!
Life Explored: Join Pastor Howard and John Miller as they lead this interactive class including short films and discussion about our search for happiness. It is designed for friends to bring friends. Bring along an unbelieving friend who has questions and needs a safe place to process the story of God.
What's the class about?
We all want to be happy. We all try to find happiness. But are we looking in the right place? And why is lasting happiness so hard to find? This study will explore how our deepest desire for happiness is found in a person. The best gift God can give us is himself.
WHO is the class intended for? Life Explored has been designed to speak powerfully to those who don't consider themselves to be religious and have never read the Bible. But it will also stimulate good discussion among followers of Christ too.

“There are many questions that surround spiritual gifts: What are spiritual gifts? How many are there? Are they important? How many do I have? How do I get them? How do I know what they are? Can I seek certain gifts? How do I understand the purpose of gifts? What about miraculous gifts like languages and healing – are they still in operation?”
If you have questions like these, come spend a Saturday with us and find the answers. The Spiritual Gifts Seminar runs from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 14. A continental breakfast and snacks will be provided. Childcare is available, but sign up is required by April 5. Costs are $15 per person to cover online assessments. Assessments must be completed prior to April 13. The results of the assessments are needed to take the seminar. See Nate Arnold, Carolyn Roman, or Willow Brixey for more information.
